Squannacook Industries was a small, independently run creative studio that I operated for several years, specializing in custom greeting/holiday cards, as well as design services for special events. The business also offered branding support for other small businesses, including logo design, websites, and visual identity development. Many of my long term creative projects were produced under the Squannacook Industries umbrella.
The Squannacook Industries brand also extended into retail for a time, with a short-lived space in a local thriftique co-op, where I sold vintage and upcycled items, alongside my original design products. The business served as a flexible, hands-on platform for exploring a wide range of design and branding opportunities.
It was a passion-driven project that served as the creative umbrella for much of my design work. A fun, flexible venture that gave me space to explore a variety of design ideas and collaborations.
SQUANNACOOK INDUSTRIES BRANDING
Handmade, design forward greeting cards with style, attitude, and a personal touch. I created all the of the art and copy. I printed them I bulk by. and on a 4' x 8' Mamaki printer, then hand cut packaged each one.
SQUANNACOOK INDUSTRIES CLINENT LIST
A mix of clients and projects from the Squannacook era. All were fun collaborations across design, social, and more.
PROTECT THE PLATE, 2018 - present I worked with PTP on many projects, including branding, apparel, and consulting.
LACE UP RECRUITING, 2024 A start up Boston area based athletic/softball recruiting company. I created the branding. The logo icon using the lace of a softball to create an almost "mascot" figure.
THE OAKS SCHOOL - 2012 A private school in Los Angeles, CA needed a mild modernization of their branding. They didn't want to abandon their long standing casuals, so II used elements of the original branding to create a refreshed identity.
A TO Z VACUUM, 2016 A fun logo project for a local family business. The niche vacuum sales and repairs store was the last retail location of small chain that operated from 1975 - 2020.
WACHUSETT MOUNTAIN, 2012 Wachusett Mountain, in Princeton MA, reached out to revamp their racing leagues logo. At the time they were updating branding across the mountain.

TEELA SPRINKLES, 2014 Branding, and social media assistance, for a local small business that handcrafts children's felt toys. The branding is also used on baked goods under the same branding umbrella.
GMP PIPING INC, 2016 A mild branding update for a local manufacturing company. Much of my role was to maintain the core elements while updating and simplifying the long standing logo.
ODD PINE FARM, 2015 Branding overhaul for a Pick Your Own blueberry farm that operated from 1959-2023. The then owners, were started a social media and web push to build a local audience.
THE AULD LOCALS, 2017 Local band, and friends, needed a logo for their Irish Trio band. How could I say no?
PERILATE, 2014 A short lived make-your-own kit beverage company. I created the branding, and consulted on social media.

SQUANNACOOK INDUSTRIES CLIENT SPOTLIGHTS
A few highlighted collaborations between SQI and local businesses in New England.
The queens cups, 2016
Social media is one hell of tool. I met the owner of the Queens Cups while working at Worcester Magazine in 2011, when she was making cupcakes in her home kitchen. Later she would open The Queens Cup’s, an in-demand bakery in both Milbury and Worcester, MA.
I had the opportunity to make custom dessert stands for her business to use as displays in their retail space, and also at their catered events.
